In September 2014, the 'Stichting Industrieel Erfgoed Bergen op Stoom' (SIEB - a foundation to preserve the industrial past of Bergen op Zoom), of which I was a member at the time, presented three books about the history of transportation in my hometown Bergen op Zoom .
To liven up that presentation, we organized a whole weekend full of various activities to show the city what kind of companies hadn't been here in that area in the past and there different means of transportation.

In addition, we had tracked down a lot of old means of transport (old trucks, carts, yes even old steamboats) that were still owned by various private individuals, institutions and companies and asked them to exhibit them during that weekend or even to arrange tours through the city.

This old cart was one of many old means of transport on display at the time.
