Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken inside the H.O.T.A art gallery, Surfers Paradise in Australia. I have a great passion for reflection photography.

Time

From the position I was standing I could see through to the gift shop also refected behind me are the steps I had just walked down. I waited a while for someone to walk down the step to give the picture even more depth.

Lighting

Luckily the whole stairwell was alight with bright sunshine.9

Equipment

This was a snapshot on my phone. I just saw the composition of the photo and shot it.

Inspiration

I am always on the lookout for interesting reflection compositions. I love the fact that the photo keeps you looking to figure out the many components.

Editing

The only post processing done is to turn the photo slightly to maximize the intrigue.

In my camera bag

I carry my Canon camera with me but on this occasion used my phone.

Feedback

I think the art to catching a good reflection is the depth of the shot should have a focus and the reflection itself should be interesting.
