I was exploring a new local area for streamwater. While exploring the creek along a county road, I noticed graffiti painted under the bridge, and the water runoff over the boulders created a serene contrast between humans and nature. Not sure of SEST means but the blue-green of the graffiti color contrasts nicely with the strong current water.Time
Morning light, dapple morning light. 10 AM.Lighting
As I climbed over the boulders, the sun just shined softly over the water. My focus was on the rock and the water at first. But I noticed the graffiti under the dark bridge, I move slightly over to the right to get the boulders and the graffiti, and thought to myself, some crazy kids were willing to risk their safety, climbing over the rushing water to mark the wall.Equipment
Nikon D750 with Tokina AT-X 124 AF PRO DX 12-24mm (yes - a DX lens on full frame)Inspiration
Serendipity. I was looking for the water and stream but this photo opportunity present itself to me.Editing
I am a big fan of NIK and now DxO. All photos are shoot in RAW and processed via Bridge, Photoshop, and NIK.In my camera bag
Most of the time Nikon D750 with a wide angle and a medium-range lens. I also carry a wide range of ND filters.Feedback
Just be aware, sometimes you go out to pre-determined projects and images but if you be aware of the surrounding, there are many other opportunities, and those may be the keeper.
