The photo was taken in the garden of a small summerhouse where I spent my holidays with my family and Maci, our beloved dog. Maci lived with us from 2007 to 2021 and it was her last Summer. She was a very intelligent, empathic, family loving dog, a genuine member of our family. She choose my daughter when we visited a dog shelter, Maci was cca. 6 week old and crawled to the her legs. She immediately decided to take Maci home.Time

There was a nice soft light from the right filtered by the trees and adding a little glow the her fur.Equipment
It was shot handheld on Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 Micro Four Thirds body with Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60 mm f/2.8-4 Power O.I.S. zoom lens. I love this sharp workhorse zoom.Inspiration
Maci was our beloved friend and I wanted to take a potrait picture to preserve the beauty and characteristics of her. The environment and the relaxing mood was ideal to take this photo.Editing
