Townsville Queensland Australia was a hot spot of activity during the tumultuous World War 2 years. The war in the Pacific was raging, and Townsville was home to a large contingent of military personnel, and military hardware, and a large airbase for American Bombers. This area needed eyes in the sky, and so was constructed this ominous building. It housed radio and radar scanning systems to watch for potential enemy attacks upon the citizens of this garrison city.
