Drake was coming into land near a group of other mallards resting along the water's edge.

In the Horse Heaven Hills of Eastern Washington is a great place to capture spring storms. one will get either rain or snow showers.

Mallard was settling into a group, then saw me and was bailing out

Working with a new camera and lens to work on birds in flight.

Sunrise one morning in early November. the morning colors were awesome

I was above the town overlooking the Yakima Valley as the spring storms came rolling in one after another

Drake was part of a group of Mallards winging it up the river.

I was taking a photography class and the class had an evening shoot. The evening was a dark low clouds and rain.

Drake came by me close. Auto tracking on my new camera seemed to work.
