Nothing like an evening dinner cruise to get some great night shots.

This is the Rama VIII Bridge. It is named in honor of HM King Rama VIII (King Ananda Mahidol), the 8th monarch of the Chakri Dynasty.

The bridge carries traffic over the Chao Phraya River between western Bangkok (Rattanakosin Island) and Thonburi.

It connects Wisut Kasat Road in Bangkok and Arun Amarin Road - which leads to the Borommaratchachonnani Elevated Highway - in Thonburi.

The Rama VIII Bridge is a 300 meter (980 ft) long asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge . The single pylon tower rises to 160 meters (520 ft), and features a lotus bud design tower at the top.

When in Bangkok, check out the Royal Princess Cruise. You can find her dockside at "Asiatique The Riverfront". Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok.
