This photo was taken on one of my photo walks in my neighborhood. I recently got myself a macro lens, and attended a photography course to improve my skills. This picture is a result of that. I also wanted to capture spring, but found something different.Time
This was on a sunny afternoon during a chill weekend. One of those days that are too nice to spend inside.Lighting
I used a parked white van as a backdrop. I'm working on using objects and colors around my object to set the right mood and light.Equipment
This was shot on my Sony Alpha 7 IV, with a 105mm sigma macro lens.Inspiration
I try to push myself to take better photos and give myself photo tasks. I feel that it's easier to find motivation and inspiration on walks if I have a concrete task at hand. Even tho in my mind I wanted to capture "spring" on this walk, but ended up with autumn ????Editing
I shoot in RAW, so some post processing is always necessary. I use Adobe Lightroom for 99% of my editing. In my camera bag
I'm fairly new to the photo enthusiast segment, so I'm not too geared up just yet. But I usually have my kit lens 24-70mm and my f/2.8 105mm sigma with me. Depending on my goal for the session, my tripod is usually attached to my backpack.Feedback
Give yourself a photography task to complete when you go outside. Look for the little things, the small details and the right light for you vision. :D
