Morning Fire Wood
I woke up this morning to a not so warm house ???? I get the 1st fire of the day going (Hubby, Stinky usually does this but I am home alone so it's my duty) and I see I need to fetch more firewood. Still half asleep I go outside open the garage and take a deep breath of cool crisp air and I spot a dark blob over at the wood pile ???? I take a double look and it's Beastie The fisher (haven't seen him in a while). I run inside because of course I don't have my camera ???? and I am stumbling to get proper camera settings as I had it on auto for video recording. I take a few pics and I spot my snow covered little blue step stool and I am crouching down (to make myself look small) and tip toeing (I am sure I look like a crazy cartoon character ???? ), I get there and take my snowy seat. This image is Beastie looking at me just before the run up the tree - he ran up the tree and jumped down and took off in a flash ???? fastest slinky run ever into the woods. Beastie was not too keen on the crunching of the snow and he decided to leave (mixed precipitation yesterday and freezing temps this morning makes for a noisy walk). I put my camera away and stocked up on my firewood for the day. Laters Beastie ❤
