Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at Hull, Yorkshire.

Time

It was about 12pm

Lighting

It was quite cloudy which made me think black-and-white. I do like a cloudy black-and-white sky.

Equipment

Nikon D3500 body. Sigma EX 10-20mm lens

Inspiration

I've always wanted a shot of the Humber bridge. I love bridges and great architecture and I'm in awe at the great engineering that goes into building them.

Editing

I used a black-and-white filter.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D3500 body. Four lenses :- Sigma EX 10-20mm Nikon 70-300mm. Sigma 105mm Nikon 18-55mm. A few cleaning kits. Just basic stuff really. Only been doing it a year.

Feedback

I'd say to a beginner try lots of different positions until you're happy . I tried about 30 positions along the shore line until I was happy. Keep pressing that button. That's the same advise I've been given from the pro's
