Behind The Lens

Location

I decided to take my godchildren to the playground where I live and try some new things. I’m a self taught photographer. I live to learn and improve every chance I get.

Time

I absolutely love this picture. It was around 3 p.m. when I was able to capture this.

Lighting

This was a cloudy and cold day. They just wanted to run and play. It made for such a great day to bring in how I was feeling and envisioning them.

Equipment

This was shot on IPhone 13 Pro Max 26mm-f1.5.

Inspiration

While out at play with my godchildren I began to see how they were determined to climb this chain wall. They kept falling but continued to try to climb. They never gave up.

Editing

I normally edit in Photoshop. As I’m self taught this is been a great learning tool so far.

In my camera bag

I always keep my 50mm, 85mm, and 105mm with me. I keep multiple batteries and SD cards as well. These have helped me a few times!

Feedback

I always see the shot in my head and close my eyes. Then I position myself and continuously shoot and check my lighting.
