Walked up on this female moose in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Donut Falls trailhead this fall. She decided I was not a threat and continued to graze and ignore me. I spent 3. 5 weeks house sitting for friends in the mountains and she's the only one I saw. There were plenty of tracks all around the area I just never managed to be in the right place other than this one time.
