This was taken at the beach in Capetown,SA. This view was way too breathtaking not to take the picture.Time
I was in Capetown with a few friends and we went for an early drive to the beachfront. Already from the car i could see the beauty in the scene. I whipped out my drone and started capturing. This was taken just after sunriseLighting
The natural morning lighting is so perfect as it lights up everything perfectly without harshly exposing it and has those warm colors. At the angle of the sun during the morning, the shadows are placed perfectly to give that esthetically pleasing lookEquipment
I used a DJI Mini 2 drone. It's true when they say, "dynamite comes in small packages".Inspiration
I just love landscape photography and ocean views, so been there at that time, i had to take advantage of it and snap awayEditing
The nice part of the DJI Mini 2 is that the pictures can be taken in the raw format for better post processing(Love that feature). So I've simply applied one of my presets from Lightroom to adjust lighting and colour to get the look and feel I wanted and so I'm happy with the result of the pictureIn my camera bag
Usually i carry my Canon 600d with a few different focal length lens and my drone, so wherever i am and whatever the situation is, I'll be able to capture what i wantFeedback
Atleast be at the location just before sunrise then you have time to take many different shots at different times and also take in consideration of the wind at the location... if it's too windy, your results may differ and also battery life of the drone my deplete faster
