I decided I wanted to play with contrast in this photo, not so much about contrast in lights and colors as much as in textures. I appreciate the the areas where you see transition of textures on the dress from something clear and solid to a more silky eff

in this photo I was using natural light. I wanted to create a contrast between soft and hard texture so I used a slow shutter speed to create the effect.

some places are hard to believe that are real. some photos are hard to believe they have not been manipulated to enhanced reality, but when it comes to the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, you better believe that what you see is what you get.
