‘The Fig Tree’ as it is known as by locals, is a Moreton Bay Fig Tree that was originally planted back in the 1930’s. It is just one of the many Iconic Historical Treasures that the City of Mandurah in Western Australia and those from afar, are instantly drawn to its absolute magnificence & captivating natural beauty. So many future memories for the young to yet create, and past memories the aged get to revisit and share amongst fellow admirers . I was able to capture its truly amazing size and beauty as the sun was just setting over the waters that surround ..The perfect moment.. now frozen in time forever. Im sure you can all appreciate why so many people from so many era’s and lands, come to see the beloved Fig Tree.
