Location

The photo was taken in the Seville, Spain. The structure was the winning entry in an architecture competition to revitalize the square where it is located. I am a very amateur photographer. I took the original photo in color. It wasn't until I looked at it in black and white did I see it's true magic.

Time

The photo was taken in the late afternoon. I love taking photos in the warm light of the golden hour.

The natural light of the late afternoon, combined with the honeycomb structure, created the magic of the shadows in the photo.
