Behind The Lens

Location

Taken from the rear window of my garage I am fortunate to own some land that I have let go to rough, occasionally a few deer visit for maybe an hour or a full day if not disturbed.

Time

Mid afternoon just grab the camera and shoot

Lighting

Daylight mid afternoon, using camera to adjust exposure

Equipment

Handheld Canon 5D mk111 with ef24-105 lens

Inspiration

When ever I see deer I try to get a few shots as I never know when I will get another chance luckily I do not have far to go

Editing

Very little done in post auto adjusted in light room and cropped

In my camera bag

Always Canon 5D mk111 24-105 lens as well as ef75-300 zoom lens

Feedback

Try to find a spot that is regularly visited by your quarry then prepare to wait, my attempts to catch owls in flight have yet to produce any noteworthy results
