Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken close to the Doll Theater building in Wroc?aw. Beautiful place and very classic building.

Time

It was something about 10-11 AM. The sun was hidden behind the clouds, so the light was very soft.

Lighting

I just enacted to focus on the half of the model face, while her eyes was closed. Like she was saying that she can't see us, so we can't see her (the real her) too. Because the whole true is hidden in the eyes.

Equipment

Nikon D850 with Sigma lens, 85 mm 1.4. No flash (the light was natural), no tripod.

Inspiration

The beauty of Autumn. The feathers are in the autumn colors, but they also remind me of birds which are flying away to look for a warmer place.

Editing

Yes, at first I correct the colors, shadows and lights in Lightroom, then I do the skin retouch in Photoshop, and I add some more color/light correction if I feel I should.

In my camera bag

My nikon d850 body, 3 different lenses : nikkor 35 mm, nikkor 50 mm and Sigma 85 mm, and a Quadralite speedlight.
