Location
I took this photo of my lovely dog Nero inside, improvising, because I don't have a studio. But he was a willing model.Time
It was in the middle of the day, with a bit of sunshine coming through a windowLighting
I used only natural light, coming from a window, as jou can see in the reflection in his eyeEquipment
I only have 1 camera; a Nikon D7500. Took this shot with a Sigma 105 lens. I didn't use a tripod. I used a piece of paper with a gradient behind the shelf he was laying on.Inspiration
Nero is an old boy and last year, he was very sick. But he is still here and I wanted a nice portrait of him.Editing
I converted the photo into Black and White and took the contrast a bit up.In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D7500 in my bag, always with my favorite lens, the Sigma 105 mm. And a Nikkor 18-105 mm, a Nikkor 10-20 mm and sometimes a Tamron 70-300 mm. A tripod and a flash, filters and convertersFeedback
