Behind The Lens

Location

To be honest this photo was taken in my studio with a black back ground

Time

I was shot in the morning. I have a window in my studio so I want to soft morning light to shine on her

Lighting

I always try to pay attention of lighting direction when I'm mixing medias in one image

Equipment

I use my Canon 5D Mrk III with 24-70mm lense. I had a off camera strobe bouncing off a refectory for fill

Inspiration

I have been work on a project call "Angel Project"

Editing

So after the shot was taken I did some photo manipulation on it; for example I found stock photo of a old building that had the lighting coming the same direction. I placed the model in the scene and added wings I created from dove wings and feathers. Then played with color tone and effects in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

I carry my 5d with two lenes; 70-200mm and the 24-70mm.. If i am shooting a concert I always bring my 600mm in case I am sent to front of house..

Feedback

when creating a a scene and adding layer of objects/images elements in post i have them remember some basic rules; Perspective of you camera angel to the scene your trying to match up ; also lighting/ shadow direction and color tone.
