Location
I took this photo at Übersee at Chiemsee. It is located in Bavaria, Germany. that was a community shoot with a second excellent photographer. Her name is Nicole Reinhard. She comes from the area, and knows all the good places to take pictures.Time
That we wanted the sun over the lake as backlight we had met there in the evening shortly before sunset.Lighting
Since we photographed against the sun we used two Profoto B10 to brighten up the model. One each left and right of us on both flash heads zoom reflectors were used.Equipment
I used a Eos 1x EF24-70mm F2,8L II USM Two Profoto B10 Two Profoto Zommreflektors Two Lightstands one Profoto Flash Trigger Camerasettings: Manuel; f/3,5; 1/4000sec Falshsettings: Manuel HSSInspiration
I was inspired by our model Stefani Millinger. as a professional artist she can do things with her body which are just great in front of this scenery.Editing
I didn't do much post-editing on that photo. Only the contrasts were adjusted and converted to black and white. In my camera bag
In my Bag i have a Canon Eos1 X a Eos 5 mark IV and a Eos R. if it goes dirty sometimes i take the Eos 5 mIII. For the studio, I almost pack just fixed focal lengths For traveling i use zoom lenses. Most of my Lenses are from the professional line. Two canon 600RT Flashes with the canon radio trigger and a carbon tripod I use light as i need, if the distance to the model is big i use a Profoto B1 Kit and for shorter distances a Profoto B10 KitFeedback
Since I didn't know the area well, I looked for a photographer who lives there. This way I could save myself the search for a location and she also knew when the best light for our project was. Of course it is immensely important to find the right model for it.
