Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home. I usually like to shoot more outside.

Time

When I started to think about this shoot it was morning. Until I prepared everything it was mid day. It was March, the spring had not really begun yet but I was lucky because it was a beautiful sunny day.

Lighting

The light it's all natural. It was a bright, sunny day and it was very helpful. I positioned myself in front of the window for a more dramatic effect.

Equipment

It was shoot with Nikon d7100, 50 mm f/1.8G lens and a tripod.

Inspiration

I like this kind of photos, they look surreal. For some time I wanted to try and finaly i had some time to try it in my style.

Editing

Yes, of course. I could've do it without post-processing but I didn't want to drop the camera and smash it on the floor. So i had to secure the camera with a piece of thread and remove it after in post-processing.

In my camera bag

If it's up to me I want to take everything, but is not possible due to limited space. So I put my Sony A7 with two lenses, 50 mm f/1.8 and 28-75 mm f/2.8. Also SD card, extra batteries, ND filters, a power bank and some cables in case if I ever need.

Feedback

You can do this with almost everything what you can think about. You can have fun doing it and the more you experience the better you become.
