Great image! Just got back from Sedona, an easy 90 minute drive from Anthem Az. B

I've only shot the superstition Mountains from route 88 or Goldfield Ghost Town. This shot is incredible to say the least. I never thought to hike around the mountain to get a mush better view. This is a really great shot, and I love it.

Great shot! I've been in that area about 15 years ago (but only in the middle of the day, so with much less impressive colors), so it is nice to see how beautiful this looks at sunset.

Wonderful lighting on this day that highlighted the red nature of the rocks in this area.Equipment
Canon 5D - Mark IV. Really right Stuff tripod and 16-35, 2.8 Canon Lens.Inspiration
This is one of my favorite locations and my good friend and fellow WorldPix photographer, Josh Snow planned to take this photo together for several months. Josh helped me find this location and I think it is a classic.Editing
Yes, but minimal. Burn, dodge, levels, color tweaking. In my camera bag
I shoot canon. Mark IV for landscapes. 16-35, 24-70, 11-24.Feedback
Don't get distracted. Find your composition 1-2 hours in advance and set up every detail perfectly. Then wait for the sun!
