Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo in perros guierec a small town in the west of France in the department Bretagne

Time

It was after a great meal in our lovely hotel at around 10pm

Lighting

The lighting was a bit difficult because i had to shoot against the sun

Equipment

The photo was shot using a 10 stop ND filter and a polarizer on my Sony A7RII I used the Canon 16-35mm F4 L with the sigma Mc 11 adapter on a tripod and released the shutter with a remotetrigger

Inspiration

I wanted a great wallpaper for my cell phone so I thought I should shoot it vertically

Editing

I had to remove the wrinkles in the sand and did some color grading

In my camera bag

I Allways carry my Sony A7RII, Loxia 21mm f2. 8 and the 50mm f2

Feedback

Make sure that your tripad stays in place. Because the sand will move if you are close to the water... I learned it the hard way and had to replace my loved 21mm after the first day shooting at the beach.
