Location

One of my Jobs At Pet Land is to care for the Reptiles..Leopard Geckos are my favorite ,they come in a variety of colors and are easy to care for..this Indevidual has grown from about an inch long to around 7 inches in length ..ge enjoys a variety of insects,and likes to pose for the camera

Time

Ealy in the Day is feeding time, I got this shot just as he was snacking on a cricket

Lighting

Simple reptile lighting in this photo ...it helps to bring out the colors

Took this photo with my Nikon d5500..no flash 18/55 lens handheld

Inspiration

I love Animals of all kinds Reptiles are my favorite to photograph

Editing

Yes..clarity and sharpness in Lightroom...not much prosessing was needed in this shot

In my camera bag

I carry a nikon d500 a nikon d5500 70-300 mm lens 18-55 mm lens and a sigma 150-500mm lens a few filters I rarely use..but keep handy

Feedback

Reptiles are fun to photograph ,I try to shoot them in natural habitat if at all possible...sometimes exotics are not found in some Areas of the country so the Zoo and or exotic Pet Shop is great place to see and learn about them
