Behind The Lens

Location

The pic was taken at the feet of the Monferrato hills, Piemonte, looking at the young vineyards and the Castle of Camino

Time

It was late afternoon, a bit before the golden hour: clouds were covering the sun so I wanted to capture this mix of blue and grey instead of witing the red (that didn't come)

Lighting

Nothing to tell about the lighting, I didn't use artifacts..

Equipment

I had to try the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 (with the Fujifikm X-T20 and one of my Rollei tripods), I used a large aperture for catch the blur foreground contrasting with the clearness of the castle and the sky

Inspiration

It's a vie I have in front of my eyes almost every day and I like to take shots of it in different seasons and/or weather conditions

Editing

Only the basics for this one, it's a single shot born with a good hystogram

In my camera bag

Today I'm using a Fujifilm MirrorLess system: Fujifilm X-T20 with Fujinon 10-24 mm & Fujinon 35 mm and my inseparable Rollei citytravel tripod
