Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at home when I first started taking my photography seriously

Time

it was taken at lunchtime, it was an overcast day and the light through my kitchen window was perfectly soft.

Lighting

The shadow cast to the right in such a way that it encouraged the thought of this huuuuge crumpet.

Equipment

This was actually shot just using my Samsung Galaxy phone.

Inspiration

The perfect line up of the base of the plate and the size of the crumpet, both beautifully round and my love of food ????

Editing

Just a slight sharpen adjustment made to enhance the crumpet holes and black pepper flecks.

In my camera bag

I currently use a Sony Cyber shot which is great for the serious hobby photographer I am. No other equipment, just sling it round my neck when off out and about.
