On my way to work this morning, I drove by the spot where I thought this guy might be. No dice. I was disappointed, as I thought today would *surely* be the day that I captured this owl, since it's such a prime spot for scoping out rodents near and far.

On my way home this evening, I was going to head home on the usual route, but I decided to loop back *just* in case I happened to see him at 'the spot'. He wasn't there.

As I approached the stop sign a bit further ahead, though, I noticed an odd shape on top of the telephone pole *RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME*. So, I pulled into a spot off the road, and stood about thirty feet away from where he was sitting, and snapped a bunch of shots of him watching all the traffic.

YESSSSSSSS. I got him. This owl has been my mission for the past three years since I first saw him here.
