Location
This image was taken at the Mill Creek in the Lancaster County Central Park, Lancaster, Pa.Time
Approximately 2 in the afternoon was the time of day that this photo was taken. Unfortunately midday is the time frame of most of my photo excursions,Lighting
The day was overcast creating that nice "soft" diffused lighting that helps with the colors in nature,Equipment
My Nikon kit lens (18mm-55mm) along with a neutral density filter was used on my Nikon D3300 camera. Also a circular polarizing filter was used to reduce glare and increase color saturation. There was a cable release used to minimize camera movement of the shutter. A sturdy tripod was used as the long shutter speed would deem it imposible to hand hold the camera for this picture.Inspiration
I have always loved to make images in my mind and almost every time I have the opportunity I give flowing water a try to create something that will show a little artistic ability. It is challenging and calming at the same time.Editing

Normally I am carrying my Nikon D3300 with a variety of lenses, even some that are 50+ years old that I need to us an M42 to Nikon adapter. In my bag I always have a variety of filters, two flashes, homemade reflectors and some clamps to hold things. I use an old aluminum tripod that is built like a tank. You just never know what you might need to "get the shot".Feedback
Always try hard to keep learning something that is new for you. Expand your horizons and remember to have fun and enjoyment with your photography. Yes, it is hard work, but you must enjoy it therefore making it seem like it is not work, Always try to get the shot.
