Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in my little studio at our hall. It is just a little place where three backdrops hang under the ceiling. I use this little place only for portraits because there is not enough place for a whole body picture. ;)

Time

I used a continuous light and the rest of the room is dark. So it is totally equal at which time this picture is taken. But it was taken on a Sunday morning.

Lighting

I put the continuous light it directly frontal on my model, so there becomes a wonderful reflex in the eyes and not so much shadows.

Equipment

I used a Jinbei EF-200 LED V 200 W Sun Light 5500 K and aJinbei QZ-50 Radar Beauty Dish 50cm. My camera is a Nikon D610 with a 50mm/f1.4 Sigma Art lens.

Inspiration

I saw the trend with the whisps of hair in the face at the great fashion shows. I loved to do a naturally shot in my studio in black and white.

Editing

I did some retouch at the skin, not much only correct a litte spots. After that i accentuate the freckles. That's all.

In my camera bag

I don't use much equipment. In my bag there is always my favorite lens 50mm/f1.4 and my camera -that's all.

Feedback

Trail and error! This picture was one in a set of 100 that had the BÄM effect. Capturing moments is hard but if you try you'll find out, how wonderful it is.
