USCG base festival, this is the Stern (rear) of the Decommissioned Cutter Mackinaw (USCGC WLBB-30, not the WAGB-83). A 240 ft ship built with a 3,500 ton displacement for heavy icebreaking operations on the Great Lakes around Michigan. Michigan has fun with Mac names, we have the Mackinaw bridge, straits of Mackinac, Fort Michilimac and Fort Mackinac also a Fort Michilimackinac.
