This is a *very* old photo (which also means I now only have a jpeg version, so it isn't exactly the best quality image in the world. This photo was originally a part of a series exploring the idea of trying to escape from depression, and how the world looks changes depending on your mindset. This image is *UNMANIPULATED* insofar as the black background to the frame is actually a black sheet (I admit, I may have touched up a few areas that weren't too neat.

Thankyou! I've been tempted to revisit this idea for a while, and it's almost time for bluebells again! There are several things that I would do differently in order to make things more interesting, but I wouldn't want to go into that too much yet. =P

Thank you for sharing this photo and the background about it. I have been dealing with depression for 6years now. Looking at the photo reminds me of when I have good days. It is like stepping out of the darkness. Great job!
