I shot this bald eagle just a few moments after I shot my first juvenile bald eagle at a local NWR. I was about to give up on finding an eagle like everybody was seeing when I spotted the juvenile. I shot a few shots of the juvenile and drove to the parking lot thinking I would take a few more when I looked up and the juvenile was gone and now two adult bald eagles was sitting in the same spot. I was very excited to get my first close up of an eagle in the wild. I have since found two adult bald eagles sitting in a nest, closer to my house, so now I hope to get a good shot of them in flight soon.
