I took this photo in Iceland, in mountains called the Blue Mountains. I work as a mountainguide and I had a group of people that I was taking out for snowshoeing.Time

This photo was something I took to capture the moment. It was pretty foggy but then all of a sudden part of the sun broke through the clouds and the light got really interesting. I really liked how you couldn't see anything except the fog, the snow and the empty space in front of us. So I quickly grabbed my camera and shot this photo. It was just me capturing this nice moment where you felt like you were completely alone in the world, very peaceful but still something so mysterious.Editing
Just turned it to black and white and that's it! A moment well captured I'd sayIn my camera bag
I always travel light with just a small camera that doesn't weigh me down, since my primary object is mountaineeringFeedback
It's hard to give advice about photos like this because it was all done in the moment. Nothing I had planned for, I just saw something that I really liked and snapped a photo of it. I guess my best advice would be to just go out a lot, explore, have your camera with you and eventually you will come across something spectacular. In my opinion those are the best photos and I find myself to be privileged to have a job that allows me to experience moments like that.
