The Robe Obelisk, South Australia.
The obelisk at Robe is a local icon, but it's future does not look promising. Robe council have recently made the decision that it is too dangerous to maintain the 164 year old obelisk any longer. The cliff top that it sits on is being eroded away, the path out to it is now very narrow with significant undercutting and cracks , making it unsafe to walk out to the structure any longer. You can see how the cliff is crumbling in this photo. Eventually the obelisk will topple into the ocean, but in the meantime, it's condition is sadly going to be left to deteriorate.
