Location
This photo was taken at horsebridge railway station. It has been resurrected as an wedding venue. I was down there helping a friend with a hog roast for a wedding and when the first dance came on I quickly whipped around the station capturing all kinds of different shots.Time
This was taken around 3pmLighting
The lighting was difficult as the sun was at it's peak and the shadows were quite harsh in places.Equipment
I used the Sony A6300 with the 18-200mm lenseInspiration
I love old things, I was trying to capture the emmense size of the carriage and the great job they made bringing it back to life.Editing
I used light room to try and reduce some harsh shadows, I made it black and white because it shows more detail and slightly increased the exposure. In my camera bag
I have all sorts, I carry the A6300, canon 700D, flashes for both, various different lenses with different apertures. I carry remote triggers for off camera flash and lots of batteries.Feedback
Experiment. I shot this at many different angles, high, low, to the right more and to the left. In the end I thought this Was The best image from them all. Don't be afraid to fill the frame and get in close.
