I just got to know the person in the picture a few days before during another hike.
As I found out, she is a blogger and slept every day in May in another place in Norway's nature. I told her about my intention to visit Manafossen, the pictured waterfall and she invited me to join her for the trip there. So I had company and a super interesting subject for my landscape shot, giving the picture scale and drama.

The Månafossen itself is a waterfall in Gjesdal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway, near Frafjord. The powerful water falls down 92 metres into a small water pool creating a big breathtaking spray, soaking everything around it.
