The photo was taken close to my home in Staten Island,NY .Time
The time I took the picture would be around 11am on a very cloudy day .Lighting
I saw what was brewing in the sky and waited for a while until I could see the different layers in the clouds with rain coming down and the sunlight coming through the the bottom , I decided to have my friend posing for me to give the picture more depthEquipment
I shot this picture with my Nikon D800e with an aperture of f3.5 , ISO 400 and 1/4000 second . And always on a MeFOTO tripodInspiration
I was inspired by the park of what they transformed it from a dump to a great park which will have 3 times the size of Central Park in NYC once it's ready . I had the thought of documenting the park and I got lucky with the opportunity to do so :-) the views are amazing to the new WTC and even the Empire State BuildingEditing
I only corrected the colors and dehazed the sky and add a grad filterIn my camera bag
Together with my D800e I always will have my 70-200 f2.8 VR II , my 50 mm f1.8 and my 24-70 f2.8 and in low light I love to use my 85 f1.4Feedback
The New York City area in othe boroughs had phenomenal places and view to see NYC from a different view , like abandoned hospitals, great parks ,buildings and always great characters
