I normally don't go for portraits as I prefer nature photography. But this is simply beautiful :-)

Hello there, my name is Martin. The Picture of Mandy I made by a short meeting with her at the Elbe in Magdeburg. It was our first meeting in order to learn to know each other a little.Time
The picture was taken in Magdeburg about 15 clock in the afternoon. I can well remember me yet, because it was quite windy but to shoot the weather was ideal.Lighting
I wanted to make natural portraits of Mandy. Since I work only with natural light, the slightly low sun fit very well. A light wind and low sun from the front were ideal conditions for a portraitEquipment
I use for all my work: -Nikon D800 -Nikkor 35 1.8 -Nikkor 85.18 For the light: -reflector 80 cm -YN 565 -Firefly softbox But most I use the natural light and the Nikkor 35 1.8Inspiration
I want to show with this picture, that make it very possible with the easiest ways is good portrait. Starts with your cam without all the technical stuff. The image is created without Refelctor only natural light.Editing
For editing I use photoshop. The most I'm doing in raw converter. I take no plugins ect. I do not like long processing turns. In my camera bag
-Nikon D800 -Nikkor 35 1.8 -Refelctor 80 cmFeedback
Do whatever you want and how you want it. Do not think you strictly to the rules. Work with what you have and use the light which is available.
