Location

This photo was taken in Hollis Maine at the trail head of a local land trust owned by Poland Spring water company.

Time

Just before sunrise.

Lighting

Natural lighting right before sunrise.

Equipment

Canon 6D with a Canon EF 24-105mm f4 IS USM L

Inspiration

I looked back at my car and it just looked interesting the way the light was hitting it and the water droplets on the fence.

Editing

Yes, I used Lightroom CC. Dropped the highlights and raised the shadows. A little exposure boost and some clarity.

In my camera bag

I usually have these lenses in my bag. 100-400 L, 24-105 L and a 50mm 1.8. Always have my carbon fiber tripod on me. A few filters here and there.

Feedback

Well getting up early is the hardest part in my opinion. Also always shoot in RAW. Try and find a unique place. I am lucky to be able to go to this spot anytime. I often take people here to do portraits. Pick a foggy morning that has minimal clouds.
