Location
This is in Grafton Notch State Park in Grafton, Maine.Time
This was taken in the early morning. Had to drive a couple hours to get to this spot.Lighting
It was very foggy this day which was blessing in my eyes. I feel it creates more dynamic light.Equipment
Canon 5D Mk iv, 24-105 f/4 L, hand held shot in between passing logging trucks. f/4 1/60 ISO 50 24mmInspiration
Fall in Maine can be very short. You have to catch it just right in different sections of the state. This area has all the items that I love to photograph. Leading lines, vanishing points, foliage, mountains and fog. I just really like road shots.Editing
Very simple edits in Lightroom. I try to keep things mostly natural. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mk iv, a multitude of landscape lenses and always my 100-400mm. I actually use it quite often for landscapes shots. Induro GIT 305 L with a Benro G3Feedback
Drive around a lot! Look for roads that have an opening on one end with a long straight portion. Curvy works too. Just be extra careful on busy roads. Make sure you pull over in a safe spot. Pay attention to your surroundings. Get your settings right before you get near the road.
