Location
Twin lake trail right after a rain here in the Pacific Northwest. Stepped aside off the trail to take care of a little business and off in the distance, alone amongst the dying grass was a lone rose. Seemed an odd place for a rose so captured it to keep forever.Time
This was taken just after noon.Lighting
Natural lighting is always my first choice and after walking the around the rose trying to find the perfect angle, I feel it worked as it sits in the photoEquipment
This was either taken on a Canon EOS 60 or 70D or Canon EOS 7D Mark. I believe the lens was a Sigma 17-55 2.8Inspiration
When nature called and I was detoured off the trail to take care of things, it was off the beaten path and could not resist the shotEditing
On this on I believe I adjust3d the lighting slightly and sharpened the image. This was done with Canon DPPIn my camera bag
Canon EOS 7d mark ii (2), Canon 400mm , Canon 70-200 in f2.8 and Sigma 17-55 F2.8Feedback
