Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken in Kentucky. it's called Dog Slaughter Falls... a bit of a spooky name and quite a hike to get there but very much worth it! you can walk behind the curtain of water and my kids loved that part!Time
it was probably late morning early afternoon, we were hiking with 2 of my sons and they were getting hungry :)Lighting
The light was challenging but lightroom is very forgiving...Equipment
I used my canon 6D with the 16-35mm L lens a tripod and a neutral density filter my settings were: Aperture f/20?ISO 100?Shutter 5/2?Focal Length 23/1?Inspiration
I love the silky water of long exposure of waterfalls... I plan on having a large collection of waterfall shots in my gallerie....Editing
POst processing was the basic edit in Lightroom (highlight shadow etc...)In my camera bag
Over the years my bag has gotten heavier unfortunately.... I would love to be able to travel light! right now I don't go anywhere without my canon R5 tons of batteries to power that sucker and I try to limit my lenses to 2 or 3 depending on what I plan to shoot....Feedback
Travel and explore! there is always hidden gems that can be turned into great photographs
