Location
I took this photo out in the country part of where I live.Time
It was early afternoon when I took this.Lighting
I wanted whoever viewed this to feel like a change was coming. The light from the overcast sky slowly consuming the sky and reflecting down upon the field helped me achieve that goal.Equipment
Canon Eos 6D with an ultra wide angle lens.Inspiration
I was looking for locations to take family pictures when I saw the gloomy sky contrasting against the yellow canola fields. I knew I immediately had to stop my car and take a picture before the rain started.Editing
I used a little HDR toning (in Photoshop) and bumped of the vibrancy to make the sky and field appear how I saw it.In my camera bag
I usually have my Canon 5D Mark ii, and Canon 6D on me when I go exploring. My typical lenses are 24-105mm and my ultra wide angle lens. But I also keep a macro lens on me.Feedback
Don't be afraid to get lost in the rain. You'll usually end up in spectacular places by accident.
