Behind The Lens

Location

Lake Hess, Patagonia, Argentina.

Time

During a clear sunset at the end of summer. Before going back home from a day trip near Volcano Tronador.

Lighting

A clear sunset, but with the special detail that the only thing that was still receiving direct sunslight from the sun was Volcano Tronador.

Equipment

Canon 60d, Tokina 11-16mm, tripod

Inspiration

I made a quick stop to stare at Volcano Tronador with some beautiful light, direct from the sun, while the lake was perefectly calm... Then all of a sudden a family that was coming back from a day of kayaking appeared in my frame. Now my landscape had the human scale as reference. Perfect.

Editing

Some adjustments in Adobe Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Canon 6d, Canon 60d, tokina 11-16 f2.8, canon 50mm f1.8, tripod, wireless intervalometer & shutter.
