Remarkable is the modeling and sultry lighting. I have a personal debate stemming from the overall 'cataract' look not present as in the case with your "Offering" photo.

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at a home studio of a fellow photographer.

Time

It was afternoon when we did this shoot.

Lighting

A one light set-up was used for this photo using a 300 watts strobe.

Equipment

Canon 5D mk2 50mm f/1.8 300 watts strobe

Inspiration

In this shot, I was rendering out a young virgin who's been converted.

Editing

I experimented on some LR presets, some dodging and burning, and some sharpening.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D mk2 17-40mm f/4.0 50mm f/1.8 135mm f/2.0

Feedback

The use of lights and shadows is the key for making something similar. Also, do visualize what pose would you want the model to execute. Posing guides are great help, you can search a lot of them in the web.
