After driving for about 2 hours up windy and rocky roads not meant for our truck, we reached the end of the road and the top of Coyote. We had spotted a lake in the distance and wanted to find a way to get closer so we continued to make our way following what appeared to be a road not taken by anyone in years; overgrown, covered in rocks, and worse than the previous road. Finally, we reached a dead end. It wasn't until we hiked further that we were presented with this awe inspiring view of what we later discovered was South Lake.
The road below is the paved road that is taken to get to South Lake that I had previously known to be the only road taken to view it.
