I love the contrasting of colors between the yellows and the blues....My husband has a 5200 and takes award winning photos like this one too...Great little camera.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. I like the d5200 (it's the only dslr I have), but I can't deny, I'm looking forward to the day when I go full frame :)

No, no filters at all. F/8 and 30 secs will normally produce stars from an intense light source, at least for me :)
