I went back to the old mill near Unnaryd in Sweden. It was hard to find a decent shot with all of the trees in their summer clothing, but I did find one vantage point. Four shot HDR put together in Photomatix Pro 5, and then a couple of effects added in Perfect Photo Suite 8.

Well strictly speaking, no Photoshop on this one :) Thank you for your kind comment though :)

I love this picture, awesome shot of the water wheel and the water rolling down the hill. This picture reminds me of one of my houses in my Christmas village.

Thank you very much. I hope to get the chance to go back in the winter and take some photos when it's snow clad :)

Absolutely beautiful, so rustic the wood and stone, so much to see, love the texture, nice work.

Love the exposure of the stream, a beautiful subject that has been enhanced with a talented eye!

A deceptively laid-back sight that belies the harsh surrounds ... and barely betrayed by the dynamic cascading of life-giving stream. Wow! Look longer and the picture comes alive.. in fabulous, rich, natural hues.. sharply defined artistically.

Intriguingly muted warm tones. Image attains the look and effect of illustration as it deftly straddles the fine line between aesthetic processing and hyper processing.

I was trying for an image somewhere between a photograph and a painting, it's a fine line however which once stepped over often leads to overprocessing

Excellent capture and post processing! The position from where you made this capture say a lot without words.
