Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken in my garden of my Chocolate Cocker Spaniel COCO sitting on his favourite place in the garden a brown bench placed at our front door in my village Pommerit Le Vicomte North Brittany.

Time

About 11.30am

Lighting

It was quite a low sun light which highlighted his lighter brown fur on his coat .

Equipment

Nikon D7100 Camera lens a Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EXHSM OPTICAL STABILIZER I used a Manfrotto Tripod no flash on A setting

Inspiration

Similar to my other shot I have a dog which is quite happy to sit and stare you out he is very gentle but those eyes!! basically a poser.

Editing

I use Light room 5.7 I slightly darkened the background and a slight sharpening of my dog that's it.

In my camera bag

Nikon prime 35mm f1.8 Tamron SP 70-300MM F4-5.6 VC USD SIGMA 17-50MM f2.8 SIGMA WIDE ANGLE dc 8-16MM F4.5-5.6HSM Blower Cokin Holder and several filters ND plus Uv filters .

Feedback

Basically Animals are like children if you see an opportunity grapb the camera and just let the animal relax and keep clicking the camera .You will always get a good shot but some times you will capture a great shot .
